1. How does Krome edit my photos?
Krome has a staff of trained and certified professional photo editors who will make your photos look their best and create the best possible prints. Each photo is edited and reviewed before the final photo product is printed.

2. Why is a Krome print better?
Krome prints are enhanced or retouched by editors to optimize the colors and the content for better looking prints. Your editor will ensure the colors look their best for every print product you choose. For retouched photos, your editor will transform your photos based on your requests before they are printed.

3. How does Krome design Photo Books?
Krome editors are trained and certified in photo book design and layout. For books ordered from the Krome app: If you submit more than 21 photos, then your editor will find the best 21 to include in your book. All photos in the book are enhanced to look their best on the book. Your editor will find the photos that best tell your story and use it on the cover, first, and last pages. Then they’ll fill in the rest of the story throughout the book, while keeping in mind the chronological order of events. For more photo book options, try our web-based photo book design service.

4. How do the free credits work?
To encourage you to try the Krome Photos service, we have provided you with an initial set of free credits. The free credits are like cash and they’ll be automatically used up in your first order. You must have a valid credit card that can be verified in order to use the free credits. No charges will be made until your credits are used up and you approve the credit card transaction. Credits may be added to your account based on promotions or other reasons. The credits can be used in the App or on the website www.dashboard.kromephotos.com.

5. What are the options for editing my photo? How do I tell my editor what I want?
Choose “Retouched Products” in the Krome app for custom retouching. Your editor will make your photos look perfect. Simply choose the photo in the app, type in the changes you would like to see, and a professional photo editor will get to work!
If you do not want custom retouching for your photos, choose “Enhanced Products” in the Krome app. With Enhanced Products you do not need to specify changes, and your editor will focus on lighter touch-ups to make your photos look their best.

6. Are my photos backed up? How can I access my photos on the web?
Every photo you print is uploaded to the Kromephotos.com site and backed up for you free of charge. You can also access your photos from the web at www.dashboard.kromephotos.com. Use the e-mail address you entered for your order and the temporary password provided to you to log in. You can change the password at any time.

7. When will my prints arrive?
Your order will have a tracking ID so you can follow its progress. We will enhance or retouch your photos in less than 24 hours, and the printing process can take 2-3 days, depending on when your order was placed. Typically standard shipping takes 4-7 days.

8. How do I contact Krome Photos?
The [K] button at the lower left corner of most screens provides you a feedback form plus the Krome phone # and address. You can also send us an email at support@kromephotos.com or call 855 GET KROME.

10. How does Krome edit my photos?
When you upload your photo to Krome Photos, you will have the opportunity to let us know how you would like your photo to be edited. Then your personal editor will e-mail you within 24-48 hours to let you know that your photo is finished. At that point, you will can log in to your account to view the before/after versions of your photo.

11. What are the editing and pricing options?
There are two main editing options: Level 1 and Level 2. Both Level 1 and Level 2 enhancements include cropping, color correction and enhancement, exposure fixing, red eye removal, sharpening, highlight rescuing, shadow brightening, and noise reduction. Level 2 editing also includes blemish or scar removal, teeth whitening, skin and wrinkle smoothing, hair smoothing, braces removal, and glare removal.

Level 1 ($4.99/photo) includes color enhancing, advanced area editing, and artistic features such as vignette, sepia, or black and white transformation.

Level 2 ($9.99/photo) includes advanced pixel editing and removal of objects or people from the background. Level 2 can also apply skin and hair smoothing to give your photo a polished look.

12. How do I approve a photo?
Log in to your account and open the project folder for your order. Click the “View Photo” button to see the before and after versions of your photo. You can then approve your photo or request revisions if you would like to see further changes in your photo.

13. What is the Krome Treatment?
Unlike the other services we offer, Krome Treatment performs simpler edits on an album of photos, instead of advanced enhancements on one or a few photos. With Krome Treatment, all of your photos will be color enhanced, and sorted. Then, you can easily share them through Facebook, e-mail, or download them. With our other services, your photos will receive a wide array of advanced area and pixel editing, in addition to basic cropping and color enhancing.

14. What is the Krome Dashboard?
Whenever you log into your Krome account, you will land in the Krome Dashboard. Here you can see all of the photos that your photo editor has edited for you. Plus, with the click of a button you can easily share your photos with friends and family.

You will primarily use the Dashboard to view your photo’s before/after once your editor finishes enhancing your photo. The Dashboard is also where you can order prints, books, and photo gifts.

15. What happens after I upload my photo?
Your professional editor will receive the photo once you upload it and edit your photo for you. Within 24-48 hours, your editor will upload your edited photo and send you an e-mail with instructions on how to view the before/after on the Krome Dashboard.

16. Who sees my photo after I upload it?
When you upload your photos to Krome Photos, they will be enhanced and processed by your personal editor. Your photos are seen by the Krome Photos team, and nobody else!

Regardless of whether you upload snap-shots of family events or professional photo shoots, we respect your right to control the publication of your photos. Therefore your photos will never leave the Krome Photos system without your permission.

A Krome photo book is a collection of photos that you have uploaded into our dashboard system and a Krome photo book designer creates a custom photo book for you. It is a perfect combination of your photo memories and Krome Photo’s professional photo book service.

You don’t have to do any work! We have made the process easy for you. Just upload your photos and we will take care of the rest. Choosing a service like Krome is the easiest and fastest way to get a one-of-a-kind photo book made just for you.

21. Do I have to sort all of my photos before I send them to my book designer?
No, you can select “Editor’s Choice” and choose the number of photos that you would like to have in the book. Our photo editors will sort through the photos, select the best photos, and create your custom photo book.

22. What happens after I upload my photos into Krome’s Dashboard and click “Order Photo Book”?
Simply adjust the number of photos, pages, photos per page that you would like to appear in your book. Write a note to the photo editors and photo book designers, if you have any special requests. Then click submit.

Your personal photo book designer will take great care of your photo memories and create a unique photo book just for you. When the book is complete the designer will send you an email with a link that allows you to review and order your book on the Blurb website.

23. What sorts of notes should I send to my editor when I order my book?
You can say as little or as much as you like. We suggest you describe what colors you prefer, who the important people are in your book, and any key events, places, or photos you would like to highlight.

24. Can I control how many photos, photos per page, and pages I would like in the photo book?
Yes, the Krome Photos Dashboard gives you full control of the percentage of photos that you would like used. It also let’s you specify how many photos per page you would like and how many pages in the photo book you want. Then a Krome photo book designer abides by your requests and takes care of the rest. The designer is trained to select the very best of your photos and tell your photo memory stories the way they are meant to be told.

25. I love my photo book! How do I order it?
You will receive an email with a link to your completed photo book and it will prompt you to order it from the Blurb website. (Krome Photos employs the Blurb BookSmart software to design your photo book, which is why the ordering process is done on the Blurb site. You will need the Krome link to the site to complete your order.)

26. What if I am not 100% satisfied with the photo book?
Krome Photos makes it easy to contact the designer and communicate adjustments about the photo book so that you are completely satisfied with your product. Just reply to the “Your order is ready for purchase” email and let your photo book designer know what you would like to revise.

27. How long do I have to purchase my book?
15 days.
